What is JuriBase AI

JuriBase AI is an assistant that does legal work. You brief it in plain language through a chat interface, and it handles substantive tasks end to end — legal research, drafting, and document review and analysis.

Getting started takes no training: you type a question and get an answer. Underneath that is a set of specialist tools for particular jobs, from analysing how a judicial officer has handled similar matters to teaching the assistant your own drafting style. Capabilities covers each in turn. What takes practice is knowing what to ask, how much to tell it, and how to get back work you would put your name on. That is what the rest of this site is about.

What it does

  • Legal research — finding and explaining authorities, tracing precedent, answering doctrinal questions
  • Drafting — contracts, letters, pleadings, and individual clauses, from a brief description of what you need
  • Document review and analysis — reading documents you provide, surfacing risks, unusual terms, and what is missing

It works while you are away

JuriBase AI does not need you to sit and supervise it turn by turn. Once a task is running, an Email me option appears within a few seconds. Click it, close the tab, and go do something else — the work continues without you, and the results are saved and emailed to you when they are ready.

That changes what you should hand it. Instead of asking a small question and waiting, you can give it something substantial — a research question worth an afternoon, a document set to work through — and collect the result later. The trade-off is that your upfront brief matters much more, because you are not there to correct course halfway through. Providing context covers how to brief it well.

Working unsupervised is not the same as working unchecked. Review the output when it lands, the same way you would review a capable junior's work.

Why it is worth your time

It gives you back hours. Work that would have consumed an afternoon comes back while you were doing something else. The saving is not just the task but the context-switching around it.

It raises the ceiling on your work, not just the speed. When thorough research costs an afternoon of your own time, you ration it, and some questions quietly go unasked. When it costs a well-written brief and a bit of patience, you can afford to go deeper — check the additional authority, review the whole document set instead of a sample, explore the argument you would otherwise have set aside.

What it is not

JuriBase AI does not give legal advice and does not replace professional judgment. It produces work product for a qualified person to review, apply, and take responsibility for. See Limitations for an honest account of where it falls short, and Trust & Safety for how your data is handled.
