What it can't do

The work comes back under your name.

It is work product, not advice

JuriBase AI produces a first draft of your work. You settle and sign it. The professional responsibility is yours. Nothing here is legal advice.

Check every authority

Each relied-upon case carries a View in Kenya Law link. Use it to confirm the source.

Check the provision as well as the case. Open the Act and ask there to get the exact rule number.

It tells you where it is weak

A substantial answer ends with what is unresolved. If there is no exact authority, it says so and explains how it assembled the conclusion by analogy. It names counter-arguments and points to paragraphs in the draft that address them.

It does not invent authority to fill a gap.

It will leave blanks, and it says which

A draft returns with unknown information marked in brackets (e.g., [______]). The covering note lists where these placeholders are. Fill them before filing. It cannot know what is not in the attached papers.

The badges are signals, not verdicts

The confidence badge is JuriBase AI's opinion of how well it handled the task. It tells you where to look harder, not if the answer is right.

The Strong / Neutral / Weak badge is a citation heuristic. Neutral means there is not enough citation signal yet. It is not a citator or appeal status.

A question is not a failure

If an instruction is ambiguous, a turn may return with questions and no document. This is the system declining to guess. Answer in the same chat and it proceeds.

What it does not do

  • It does not file, serve, or diarise deadlines.
  • It does not know your firm's precedents unless you upload drafting templates.
  • It does not carry a matter across chats. A new chat starts from nothing.
  • It only searches Kenyan law. Foreign authority is excluded.
